About Us
Daub & Associates, Inc. is owned and managed by Gerald J. (Jerry) Daub. He has a B.S. and M.S. Degree in Geology, and is a professional geologist (PG) and certified petroleum geologist (CPG). With over 40 years of experience throughout the United States, he is experienced in the exploration, evaluation, development and production of oil, gas, oil shale and mineral properties. His expertise also includes hydrologic evaluations, permitting and environmental investigations. Mr. Daub specializes in the geology of the Piceance Creek Basin and the Niobrara Shale in Colorado; the Uinta Basin in eastern Utah; the Pinedale Anticline, the Green River Basin and the Carbon Basin in Wyoming; the Williston Basin in North Dakota; the Fort Worth Basin in Texas; and the Leadville Limestone in Kansas. He has extensive experience with exploration, development and production of sodium mineral deposits. He has international experience with oil shale in Australia, China, Israel, and Jordan; shale gas in India; and sodium resources in Australia, Mexico and Africa. Mr. Daub enjoys a good reputation for the negotiation skills that it takes to perform work in foreign countries.

Our History
Daub & Associates, Inc. draws from a pool of highly experienced and technical professionals. Office management skills and field expertise are integrated to provide rigorous and cost-effective implementation of a wide range of geoscience applications. Our client list is extensive, and we offer many geological, geophysical, hydrological, geotechnical, environmental, permitting, report writing and log interpretation services to accommodate a wide range of diverse client needs. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation, and provide professional technical reports that include exceptional graphics. This combination of experience and expertise has proven to be effective for long-term client relationships and perpetual company expansion.

Our associates are chosen from a wide range of qualifications and disciplines to provide the finest and safest consulting services possible; and include registered professional geologists, certified petroleum geologists, hydrologists/modelers, college professors, field technicians, computer and graphics specialists, and administrative assistants. The staff brings together experience from having worked for federal, state and local agencies; U.S. military bases, private companies, international corporations, colleges, universities, and non-profit organizations. Many of our personnel hold advanced degrees and certifications; and have current specialized safety training including OSHA, MSHA, HAZWOPER, Wild Well Control and Red Cross CPR training.
